Keiichiro Wakamatsu

Keiichiro Wakamatsu joined Silver Lake in 2021 and is a Managing Director based in Tokyo. He focuses on supporting Silver Lake’s Asia-Pacific efforts, including industry research, opportunity screening, and transaction diligence, and helps advance cross-border collaboration and institutional partnerships across the region.

Prior to joining Silver Lake, Mr. Wakamatsu began his career at Nomura Securities in the Investment Banking Division and later moved to New York to join Morgan Stanley, where he worked on cross-border transactions and capital markets activities, building global investment research and execution experience.

In addition to his investment responsibilities, Mr. Wakamatsu conducts online investor education in Japan, sharing an actionable research and portfolio framework that integrates macro context, fundamental analysis to establish a margin of safety, and timing considerations based on trend and key price levels, with an emphasis on structured allocation and rules-based risk management.
